HEARING ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY AND ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES
Any technology that is specific to people that are deaf or hard of hearing is referred to in a general way as “Hearing Assistive Technlogy” or HAT for short!! “Assistive Listening Devices” or ALD’s refer to a device or system that is used to improve a person’s ability to hear in a variety of communication envionments where they are unable to hear as well as they would like to, especially in noisy environments.
